Shannon Broder received her BFA (2011) and MFA (2016) from the School of Visual Arts and has been working in the printmaking field ever since. In 2008 she co-founded The Degenerate Craft Fair, an artist-run craft fair created as a way for artists to be able to make and sell work during the fallout of the economic crisis. From there, Shannon established her own company Broderpress, a home decor brand, creating and selling silkscreen pillows and ornaments. Her products sell online as well as wholesale in over 400 stores nationwide, and have been featured in House Beautiful, Better Homes and Gardens, Rachel Ray Everyday and Real Simple Magazine.
